I have been a resident in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood since 1991. Purchasing my first building there in 1996 launched a newly-discovered passion for real estate.Unfortunately, myfirst home buying experience wasn’t ideal, and the similar stories I heard from my friends made me realize that my own unsatisfactory experiencewas more the norm than the exception.I knew that whether it was a purchase or a sale, the real estate process should be a joy rather than a burden. Having previous sales experience in other industries, I felt there was a niche to be served. Thus my love for the real estate industry began.
To this day, I strive to be my clients’ advocate and problem solver. When asked what makes me a successful agent, I admit it’s pretty simple: “I am a good listener. My main job is to solve whatever problem my buyer or seller may have; as well as to find the most efficient way to solve that problem. It’s through carefully listening to my clients that I am able to truly understandtheir goals in real estate”.
I hit the ground running! I began my career at Baird and Warner Real Estate 20 years ago by winning the Rookie of the year, and continued my success with many consecutive yearsin the top 2% of sales earners. I brought my success model to Berkshire Hathaway KoenigRubloff Realty Group approximately 8 years ago and have never looked back.I have received numerous sales awards for being one of the top agents in the nation.
In addition to my proven track record, I am deeply involved with many other aspects of the real estate market. I continue to invest my time, money and energy into the industry:from owning rental buildings and managing them myself, to helping clients with their rental responsibilities, to building residential new construction developments; to helping people sell or buy their dream homes. Having experienced many different life stages in the city, from being single through being married with children, I understand the importance of selecting a location and environment that will best suit the needs of every client, no matter what stage they are in.I currently have elementary aged sons at Oscar Mayer Magnet Elementary School in Lincoln Park, and prior to that I served as a community representative for the Oscar Mayer School Board. I understoodthe importance of investing in one’s community to help make it the best it can be and look forward to helping each and every client successfully integrate into their own chosen community.
